In the July 2026 RCGP AKT report, 73.17% of all 1,308 candidates passed. The pass mark was 112 / 160; 86.15% of UK graduate first-time takers passed. Pass marks vary by sitting. RCGP highlighted cranial-nerve presentations, joint disorders in children, skin-rash diagnosis and common respiratory conditions. These are broad curriculum themes, not recalled examination questions. Use them to weight revision while maintaining full syllabus coverage.

How to use the feedback reports
Use them to weight revision, not replace the syllabus
The reports identify patterns, but the AKT still tests the full RCGP curriculum. Keep broad coverage and add extra time for recurring weak areas.
Turn repeated themes into short daily blocks
Choose one topic, practise a short set of questions and revisit the gaps before moving on.
Practise under the 160-question timing
The current AKT format is 160 questions in 160 minutes. Weak topics become more dangerous when you also run out of time.
